The Texas Railroad Commission is the primary regulator of the oil, natural gas, pipeline and mining industries in Texas.

The Texas Railroad Commission's (TRRC) original website had been developed with no clear-cut plan; in addition, there were as many as 20 TRRC staff members developing content and managing different areas of the site without a unified style.  OnRamp conducted several planning meetings with TRRC staff to analyze current uses of the site and develop a user-friendly site architecture.  ADA compliant templates and a standardized Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) were designed to bring continuity to the different areas of the site and allow for ease of future updates.  Training was given to key staff members on maintaining the site.  Use of appropriate HTML markup and CSS styles to facilitate accessibility and compatibility was emphasized.  The Texas Railroad Commission staff currently updates the site.
