HIGH SECURITY CLOUD FOR PCI AND HIPAA COMPLIANCE
OnRamp’s High Security Private Cloud solutions are designed to help customers that deal with critical data meet the compliance audits, rules and regulations set forth by PCI and HIPAA. OnRamp works with customers to create compliant solutions to accomplish all 12 of the PCI-DSS 2.0 requirements for PCI and meet the administrative, physical and technical safeguards set forth by HIPAA. OnRamp engineers work closely with each High Security Private Cloud customer to configure a customized, compliant solution using a firewall to create a “Demilitarized Zone” or DMZ and a “Protected Zone.” Applications are located on servers in the DMZ and can interact with the Internet and servers in the Protected Zone in a manner regulated by the firewall. Sensitive data such as credit card information or medical records are kept in the Protected Zone on servers that can only interact with the DMZ, not the Internet. Intrusion Detection Systems monitor and detect attacks on the infrastructure, and provide alerts to OnRamp’s on-site technical support staff, who have deep experience and certifications in managing and supporting a host of operating systems, applications, server and software virtualization infrastructures.
