Protect Sensitive Data in Purpose-Built High Security Private Clouds
OnRamp engineers work closely with each High Security Private Cloud customer to configure a customized PCI compliant solution using a firewall to create a "Demilitarized Zone" or DMZ and a "Protected Zone." Applications are located on servers in the DMZ and can interact with the Internet and servers in the Protected Zone in a manner regulated by the firewall. Sensitive data such as credit card information or medical records are kept in the Protected Zone on servers that can only interact with the DMZ, not the Internet. Intrusion Detection Systems monitor and detect attacks on the infrastructure, and provide alerts to OnRamp's on-site technical support staff, who have deep experience and certifications in managing and supporting a host of operating systems, applications, server and software virtualization infrastructures.
